Welcome to Yaffle Cottage
With Yaffle Cottage I have tried to fulfil a wish-list for a self-catering country cottage. Firstly, it is spotlessly clean throughout. The four bedrooms (two of them with en-suite bathrooms) are all spacious (the smallest is 17 feet x 12 feet), the lounges (there are two) are cosy; one has an Inglenook fireplace with wood burner. The kitchen is immaculate yet homely, with solid beech surfaces. The three bathrooms and the kitchen are tiled and have under floor heating (which, by the way, is sheer bliss if you’ve never experienced it!).
All this has been rewarded with a 5-star rating.
Ah, but so many places look like a million dollars, but are near main roads or in some other poor location. Yaffle Cottage is set in beautiful Sussex woodland, off a quiet country lane, on the outskirts of a village, in an area designated "of Outstanding Natural Beauty".
There's plenty to do nearby; walking, riding, sailing, fishing, shooting and so many places to visit; Roman villas, Goodwood, Cowdray Park polo, Chichester, Weald and Downland Museum, Petworth House etc.
